malls have many stores specializing in
Arabic artifacts. The price and quality
of traditional items vary enormously and
the souks usually offers the best bargains.
Carpets are favourite buy. The symbol
of Arabic hospitality ,the coffee pot
and cups is widely available.
Traditional
wedding jewellery made of heavy silver
and crafted into simply engraved necklaces,
bracelets, earrings, and rings are coveted
forms of historical art , especially as
many of the larger pieces make excellent
pictures if they are mounted behind glass
in a frame.
