GITEX Shopper & Consumer Electronics Expo 2006 is the biggest edition ever as it achieves 27% growth in show space as compared to last year. This seven-day shopping extravaganza boasts strong participation from many industry leaders, including Emirates Computers, HP, Jacky’s, Jumbo, JVC, Nokia, Plug-Ins, Samsung, Sharaf and Sony Ericsson.
“As the demand for digital devices continues to enjoy tremendous growth, the focus on Consumer Electronics at GITEX Shopper 2006 is timely and serves well to further affirm the show’s leading position as the must-attend technology retail event in the region,” remarked DWTC Director General, Helal Saeed Al Marri.
Gathering more than 150 vendors all under one roof, the show promises many great offers and bargains exclusive only at GITEX Shopper. Visitors will be treated to a wide array of amazing offers and impressive showcases as the show opens on 18 November at the Airport Expo Dubai.

Visitors will have the first look at various innovative technologies, including the HP state-of-the-art ‘smart home concept’, and the E-Class experience from renowned global automaker Mercedes-Benz. At the brand new ‘Shopper Gaming Zone’, visitors can also take part in live gaming action and pit their skills against each other to win attractive prizes.
With the first-ever ‘Shopper Mega Draw’, ‘GITEX Shopper Network Swipe’ and several other easy to win contests, buyers at GITEX Shopper will have the chance to walk away with cars, air tickets, home theatre systems, laptops and many more fabulous prizes.
