Dubai is set to strut its stuff on the global catwalk this month with the launch of Dubai Fashion 2007 on January 9th.
Organised by the Dubai Shopping Festival and luxury shopping mall BurJuman, the four-day event will pay homage to the country's emergence as the Middle East's top fashion destination.
Dubai Fashion 2007 will showcase new designs from five leading French and Italian brands, including Valentino, Kenzo and Christian Lacroix.
Held at the Madinat Jumeirah each evening until January 12th, the event is expected to attract fashion lovers and industry insiders from around the world and help Dubai to establish itself on the world stage.
Eisa Adam Ibrahim, general manager of BurJuman, said: "I am confident that Dubai Fashion will make headlines and turn heads and further encourage the masters of the fashion world to present their latest designs to the Middle East and wider world in this luxury fashion destination."
