DUBAI NEWS

New Partnership between Dubai Shopping Festival and Vice Versa will encourage tourist spend in the Emirate

Vice Versa International FZ-LLC, the management company of the leading smart chip rewards card, has announced an exciting new partnership with the Dubai Shopping Festival via the festival’s first ever loyalty card. The Vice Versa Dubai Shopping Festival card has been created to make international visitors to the world famous event from January 24 to February 24, 2008, wanting to spend more by delivering an even greater incentive to purchase.

The Vice Versa DSF card will allow cardholders to earn up to 20 per cent cash-rewards (Card-Cash™) on purchases made in more than 275 retail and hospitality outlets. And these are not just any outlets. They include the likes of Hugo Boss, Kenneth Cole, Tommy Hilfiger, BCBG MAXAZRIA, Porsche Design, Jacob&Co, Calvin Klein, as well as some of the city’s premium restaurants and services. The Card-Cash™ can be redeemed instantly with the very next purchase made in the Vice Versa Partner Network.

The new Vice Versa DSF card is based on the success of the Vice Versa card - specially created for premium visitors to Dubai, which was launched last summer and has been an instant hit with Dubai’s shop-and save-aholics.

Kira Milan, Managing Director of Vice Versa International says:
“We set out to create a win-win situation for shoppers visiting Dubai, providing instant rewards and recognition. The Vice Versa card not only extends visitors’ spending power, it also drives footfall in participating partner outlets as they will have a higher desire to visit the Vice Versa Partner outlets first.

“In the history of DSF, this is the first time that a branded loyalty card has been connected to the festival and follows the co-operation between Vice Versa and DSF already established during DSS last year. The concept demonstrates that by using new technologies we can make shopping smarter, more innovative and more exciting.”

“We’re delighted with our success to date. The Vice Versa DSF card builds on the triumph of our regular Silver and Gold Packages and helps visitors make the most of their stay in the city.”
Launching the DSF branded Vice Versa card brings fantastic benefits to the visitors of the festival.

Users of the card also stand a chance of winning AED 3,000 Card-Cash) during the DSF, as Vice Versa has pre-loaded this amount onto random smart chips of the Vice Versa DSF cards. Visitors to Dubai will be able to use their Vice Versa DSF card for up to three months during their stay in the region. Further, if visitors decide to extend their stay in Dubai they can upgrade to a Vice Versa Gold Card, valid for two years.

International visitors can request their complimentary Vice Versa Dubai Shopping Festival card online at www.viceversacard.com specifying either the hotel or residential address where they will be staying and it is delivered upon arrival, free of charge.
