The young pairing of Hamad Abbas Al Janahi and Faisal Bastaki, representing Jumeirah Plaza, sealed their place in the semifinals in the last group encounter of the Falak Holding Ramadan Tennis Cup being held at the Al Nasr Club.

The Jumeirah Plaza pairing will take on Falak Properties, who have won all three encounters along with Dubai Sports City. In the second semifinal, Dubai Sports City will meet Emirates Sports Stores. Al Janahi swept past Neil Bulilan 3-6, 6-0, 11-9 in the super tie-break, while Bastaki got the better of Jamal Bushaqar 7-5, 6-3.

Meanwhile, Al Wasl 'A' sealed overall victory in the under-12 competition with a 2-1 win over Al Nasr 'A'.

Paul Chase defeated Fatma Abbas 7-5, 6-4, while Kirk Rebuyas sealed victory with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Abdul Rahman Al Janahi..

In the under-16 competition, Al Wasl 'A' blanked Fujairah 3-0, while Al Nasr 'B' defeated Al Wasl 'B' 3-0. The finals will be held on Tuesday night.
