Dubai: The DSF Seven-a-Side Football Cup will kick-off today at the Zabeel Park's Football Arena.

Starting at 6pm, the championship will feature corporate teams keen on displaying their sporting abilities.

The winning team will earn a cash prize of Dh50,000.

A total of 32 teams will be seen in action. They will be divided into eight groups. Each team will play three games.

The semifinals and the finals of the competition will be telecast on ARY, Sama Dubai and other television channels.

Updates on the tournament will also be aired on three radio channels, 104.8, 107.8, and 89.1.

The Zabeel Park is hosting numerous events during the ongoing shopping festival and the football tournament will add to the excitement of the festive atmosphere.

The sports festival, one among the 13 festivals held during DSF, includes many interesting events like the 24-hour car race at the Dubai Autodrome.
